Football Team's Joey Slye: Quiet in first game back

Slye didn't attempt a field goal and made both of his extra-point tries during Sunday's 56-14 loss to the Cowboys.

Slye was activated off IR by Washington on Saturday after recovering from a hamstring injury and played in his first game since Week 12. The 25-year-old kicker didn't get much work as Washington fell behind 21-0 early in the first quarter and had to play catch-up the rest of the way. Barring another blowout, Slye is expected to get a few more opportunities against the Eagles in Week 17.

  • Younghoe Koo K | NYG

Falcons' Younghoe Koo: Another perfect outing

Koo connected on both of his field-goal attempts and both of his extra-point tries during Sunday's 20-16 win over the Lions.

Koo capped off a seven-play, 43-yard drive with a 53-yard field goal that tied the game at 10 with just over a minute left in the first half. It was Koo's first 50-plus yard make since Week 8, and he's now 3-for-4 on the season from 50 yards and beyond. Koo also connected on a 48-yard attempt to give the Falcons a 13-10 lead after their first drive of the second half. Koo continues to be one of the most reliable and accurate kickers in the league. However, his fantasy production remains reliant on Atlanta's sporadic offense, which has a tough matchup against the Bills in Week 17.

  • Nick Folk K | NYJ

Patriots' Nick Folk: Records three points Sunday

Folk hit all three of his extra-point attempts in Sunday's 33-21 loss to the Bills.

It was only the second time this season that Folk -- who has recorded 136 points in 15 games to date -- did not attempt a field goal. With that in mind, the veteran kicker -- who continues to work through a left knee issue -- is a bounce-back candidate for the Patriots' Week17 game against the Jaguars.

  • Steelers' Chris Boswell: Lackluster results Sunday

Boswell made one of two field-goal attempts and converted his lone extra-point try in Sunday's 36-10 loss to Kansas City.

Boswell missed a 36-yard attempt wide left in the second quarter Sunday, but he put the Steelers on the board with a 34-yarder in the third quarter. The 30-year-old made 24 of 25 field-goal attempts across his first 12 appearances of the 2021 campaign, but he's now made just five of eight field-goal attempts across the last three games.

  • Cairo Santos K | CHI

Bears' Cairo Santos: Scores five points

Santos made his lone field-goal attempt in the Bears' 25-24 win over the Seahawks on Sunday.

Santos converted a 35-yard field goal, though when the Bears scored their third touchdown, they went for a two-point conversion, keeping him to a five-point performance. He's been held to six or fewer points in six of his last eight games, and he'll be considered a low-upside option in Week 17 against the Giants.

  • Jets' Eddy Pineiro: Unfazed by blocked PAT

Pineiro made both of his field-goal attempts and two of three PAT attempts in Sunday's 26-21 win over Jacksonville.

Pineiro's first kick of the game was a blocked PAT, but he bounced back nicely, making his next PAT attempt for his lone successful kick of the first half. He was much busier in the second half, converting field goals from 42 and 20 yards out in addition to another PAT. The injury-riddled Jets offense moved the ball well against the lowly Jaguars, but that may not be the case in Week 17 against the Buccaneers, so Pineiro could suffer from a lack of opportunities.

  • Joey Slye K | TEN

Football Team's Joey Slye: Kicking Sunday night

Slye is active for Sunday night's game against the Cowboys.

He'll handle Washington's kicking duties in Week 16, with Brian Johnson having been made inactive by the team. Slye, who last suited up in Week 12, was activated off IR by Washington on Saturday after recovering from a hamstring injury.

  • Lions' Riley Patterson: Another solid stat line

Patterson converted three of three field-goal attempts and his lone PAT during Sunday's 20-16 loss to Atlanta.

The Lions' late-season revival continues to pave the way for surprisingly strong Patterson stat lines. Now having three FGA in three of the past four games while notching at least one PAT in each of them, few kickers have outscored the Memphis product in recent weeks. While it may seem hard to trust a Detroit team that lost or tied each of its first 11 games of the year, the offense seems to have turned a corner with head coach Dan Campbell calling plays, and Patterson could continue to benefit in Week 17 against Seattle.

  • Nick Folk K | NYJ

Patriots' Nick Folk: Active against Buffalo

Folk (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Bills.

Folk has been listed as questionable prior to most games this season, but as has been the trend, he will play while handling the kicking duties. The veteran kicker has yet to miss a contest despite constantly being slapped with the questionable tag, and he has been extremely effective, converting 34 of 37 field-goal attempts and 31 of 35 extra-point tries on the campaign.

  • Texans' Ka'imi Fairbairn: Remains on COVID list

Dominik Eberle has been elevated from the Texans' practice squad to fill in for Fairbairn, who is still on the reserve/COVID-19 list, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.

With Fairbairn on the COVID list, Eberle is in line to handle the Texans' kicking duties Sunday against the Chargers. Fairbairn will thus target a potential return to action in Week 17.
