  • Texans' Ka'imi Fairbairn: Has first field-goal attempts

Fairbairn converted both field-goal attempts and his lone extra-point kick in Sundays' 13-12 win over the Jaguars in Week 2.

Fairbairn was not called upon to attempt a field goal in Week 1, so these two attempts were his first of the season. He remains perfect after two weeks, nailing all seven of his kicks (five extra points, two field goals), although he was bailed out on an extra-point miss in Week 1 by a penalty.

  • Matt Bryant K | ATL

Falcons' Matt Bryant: Misses one kick in Sunday night win

Bryant went 1-for-2 on field-goal attempts and made all three of his point-after tries during Sunday's 24-20 win against Philadelphia.

The 44-year-old placekicker sunk his first field-goal try of 2019 by knocking down a 50-yard attempt on Atlanta's first drive of the night. He pulled another 50-yarder wide left later in the contest, only to see Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz gift the ball right back to the Falcons with an interception on the subsequent play. Week 3 brings a matchup against an Indianapolis defense that's conceded just five field-goal attempts over its past five regular and postseason games.

  • Cairo Santos K | CHI

Titans' Cairo Santos: Misses first field goal

Santos made of one of his two field-goal attempts and both of his extra-point attempts in Week 2 against Indianapolis.

While Santos made the majority of his kicks on the day, his missed field goal was very costly. With 10 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, he was called upon to convert a 45-yard field goal to put the Titans up seven, however, he pushed the kick wide left -- ultimately allowing Indianapolis to take the lead late in the game. Nevertheless, he's made three of his four field-goal attempts for the season and is perfect in converting seven extra points.

  • Bears' Eddy Pineiro: Nails game-winner

Pineiro made all three of his field-goal attempts in Chicago's 16-14 victory over the Broncos on Sunday.

Not only was Pineiro perfect on the day, but two of his kicks were from more than 50 yards, including a game-winner at the final whistle. After this performance, his job with the team should be quite safe, and he's a player who could see enough field-goal attempts to be a weekly starting option.

  • Steelers' Chris Boswell: Perfect in disappointing loss

Boswell made both field-goal attempts (33, 41) and both PATs in Pittsburgh's 28-26 loss to Seattle on Sunday.

The Steelers suffered numerous injuries while falling to 0-2, and it won't get any easier in Week 3 against the 2-0 49'ers. If fantasy owners haven't already done so, now might be the time to pursue other kicking options.

  • Matt Prater K | BUF

Lions' Matt Prater: Performance to forget

Prater missed his only field-goal attempt and one of two PATs during Sunday's 13-10 victory over the Chargers.

Prater nearly cost Detroit the game with a pair of costly miscues. The first was a missed PAT on the Lions' opening score and the second was a 40-yard field-goal attempt that sailed wide right. However, Prater only missed one other PAT over the past two seasons and has finished in the top half of the league in accuracy each of the past four seasons, so there's plenty of optimism for him to have a rebound performance in Week 3 against the Eagles.

  • Mike Badgley K | BUF

Chargers' Michael Badgley: Out second straight game

Badgley (groin) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Lions.

Badgley took a step forward in his recovery from the right groin injury by turning in three limited practices this week, but the activity wasn't enough for him to gain clearance for Week 2. With Badgley is street clothes again, Ty Long will handle both kicking and punting duties for the Chargers for the second straight contest.

  • Mike Badgley K | BUF

Chargers' Michael Badgley: Not on track for Week 2

The Chargers don't expect to have Badgley (groin) available to kick Sunday against the Lions, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

After entering the season opener with a doubtful designation before being listed among the Chargers' inactives ahead of the Week 1 win over the Colts, Badgley did enough in practice in recent days to earn a questionable designation heading into the weekend. Despite that improvement, Badgley apparently isn't completely over the right groin injury and will need to sit out another game, though Rapoport notes the Chargers expect the 24-year-old will be ready to go in Week 3. Punter Ty Long will be tasked with double duty on special teams for the second straight week after converting all three extra-point tries and a 40-yard field goal in the 30-24 overtime win over Indianapolis.

Chargers' Michael Badgley: Kicks during practice

Badgley, who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game with a groin injury, participated in Friday's practice and felt fine after the session, Eric D. Williams of ESPN.com reports.

Following the practice Badgley suggested he was trending in the right direction for Sunday's game saying, "I kicked well with the team today, but I'll see how it goes and see how I feel." The second-year kicker was held out during Week 1 so it's worth monitoring his status leading up to kickoff. Punter Ty Long filled in during Badgley's absence, connecting on both of his extra-point attempts and his lone field-goal attempt.

Chargers' Michael Badgley: Week 2 status in question

Badgley (groin) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Detroit.

Held out Week 1 due to a right groin injury, Badgley practiced in a limited fashion all week as the Chargers prepared for Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff. If he's unable to go this weekend, he'll yield kicking duties to punter Ty Long yet again.
