Eagles' Jake Elliott: Full practice Thursday
Elliott (concussion) practiced in full Thursday.
Although an uncapped session is a positive development, the Eagles quickly put to rest any assumption about Elliott's health, stating he's "still in the league's concussion protocol." Clearly, progressing from limited to full participation within one day is in line with the fourth stage of the protocol, but he must receive clearance from an independent neurologist in order to suit up Sunday versus the Bears. Fortunately for Elliott, he has two days remaining to achieve that goal.

Eagles' Jake Elliott: In line to play Sunday
Eagles head coach Doug Pederson said Wednesday that Elliott (concussion) is on track to play Sunday against the Bears, Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News reports. "Everything is looking good for [Elliott], where he's at right now," Pederson said. "I do believe that, and I feel in the bottom of my heart, that Jake will be ready [for Sunday]."
Elliott sustained a head injury during the opening kickoff of the Week 11 win over Dallas, hitting helmets with Cowboys returner Ryan Switzer and forcing the Eagles to attempt two-point conversions on each of their four second-half touchdowns. With a limited showing Wednesday and attendance at meetings, Elliott has achieved his baseline on neurological testing. However, his final hurdles will be increasing his workload in practice and gaining clearance from an independent neurologist in order to play this weekend.

Blair Walsh K | ATL
Seahawks' Blair Walsh: Gets vote of confidence from Carroll
Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said he still has confidence in Walsh, who came up short on a 52-yard field goal attempt that would've tied the score in the final seconds of Sunday's 34-31 loss to the Falcons, Curtis Crabtree of Sports Radio 950 KJR Seattle reports.
Walsh converted his other three attempts, but he previously went 0 for 3 in a 17-14 loss to the Redskins in Week 9. His track record suggests he should be on a short leash, which ultimately may be the case as the season progresses. Another poor outing could inspire the Seahawks to bring in other kickers for workouts, but Walsh will at least get another shot Week 12 in San Francisco.

Eagles' Jake Elliott: Limited Wednesday
Elliott (concussion) was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice.
Elliott made a surprise appearance Wednesday, wearing his helmet and taking part in kicking drills. The Eagles listed him as limited, though, as he remains embedded in the concussion protocol. He must receive clearance from an independent neurologist in order to play Sunday against the Bears, but the team has yet to bring in another kicker this week, signaling there's hope for Elliott to overcome the head injury without missing any action.

Eagles' Jake Elliott: Practicing with helmet on
Elliott (concussion) is wearing a helmet and kicking at Wednesday's practice, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Elliott entered the concussion protocol following his early removal from Sunday's 37-9 win over Dallas, forcing the Eagles to attempt two-point conversions after their final four touchdowns. He'll probably be listed as a limited participant on Wednesday's injury report, but Elliott's ability to practice in a significant capacity supports head coach Doug Pederson's expectation that the rookie kicker will be ready for the Week 12 game against Chicago. With the Eagles heavily favored in that contest, Elliott will be one of the top fantasy options at his position if he's cleared to play.

Caleb Sturgis K | LAC
Eagles' Caleb Sturgis: Showing improvement, but activation unlikely
Sturgis, who was placed on injured reserve after suffering a left hip flexor tear in the season opener, is said to be nearing a return to full health, but the Eagles aren't expected to activate him from IR at any point, Les Bowen of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Jake Elliott, the kicker who replaced Sturgis on the 53-man roster after Week 1, remains in the concussion protocol, but Eagles head coach Doug Pederson said he expects the rookie to receive clearance in advance of Sunday's game against the Bears. Even if Elliott ends up being ruled out for that contest, it's uncertain if Sturgis would be ready to kick in Week 12 if needed. With that in mind, it's more likely than not that Sturgis won't make another appearance for the Eagles, given that he's set to become a free agent this offseason and Pederson has previously pledged his commitment to Elliott, who has nailed a franchise-record five field goals of 50 or more yards this season.

Eagles' Jake Elliott: Expected to play Sunday
Eagles head coach Doug Pederson said he expects Elliott (concussion) to be available for Sunday's game against the Bears, Les Bowen of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Pederson noted that while Elliott remains in the concussion protocol and won't be allowed to kick during Wednesday's practice, the rookie has already made his way through most phases of the protocol and is likely to receive full clearance by the time the weekend arrives. Though Caleb Sturgis -- who opened the season as the team's kicker before suffering a torn hip flexor in Week 1 and moving to injured reserve -- is close to being available, Pederson has indicated that the team intends to proceed with Elliott if the concussion doesn't prove to be an issue.

Brandon McManus K | GB
Broncos' Brandon McManus: Hits 45-yarder
McManus converted two point-after attempts and a 45-yard field goal during Sunday's 20-17 loss to Cincinnati. He missed a 61-yard attempt during the contest.
The missed kick snapped an eight-field-goal streak for McManus. McManus started the season missing five of his first 13 attempts, but has since hit nine of 10 attempts, the 61-yard miss on Sunday his lone flub. It looks like McManus has shaken the yips that plagued him earlier this year.

Brandon McManus K | GB
Broncos' Brandon McManus: Scores five points
McManus missed one of his two field-goal attempts and made both his extra-point tries in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Bengals.
McManus nailed a 61-yarder before halftime, but that career-long make was nullified by Cincinnati calling timeout just before the ball was snapped. Unfortunately, McManus' subsequent attempt was blocked, ultimately leaving the Broncos three points behind at the end of the contest. That snapped his double-digit scoring streak at two games, and McManus now sports 69 points on the year.

Giorgio Tavecchio K | ATL
Raiders' Giorgio Tavecchio: Blanked against Patriots
Tavecchio did not attempt a kick in Sunday's 33-8 loss to the Patriots.
Tavecchio's stock figured to benefit from playing at high altitude in Mexico City, but unfortunately, he didn't get a chance to show his stuff. Through 10 appearances, he sports 58 points.
