  • Cairo Santos K | CHI

Chiefs' Cairo Santos: Has big kicking day despite miss

Santos made three of his four field goals and all three of his extra-point attempts in Sunday's game against the Colts. However, he clanked a 28-yard field goal off the right upright in his only miss of the day.

Santos has been solid for the Chiefs overall this season but converted just seven of his 10 field-goal attempts in October and has just one attempt from over 50 yards this season. Kansas City faces a slight bump in opposing defense against the Jaguars in Week 9 after three straight games against below-average teams, potentially limiting Santos' attempts a bit more.

  • Wil Lutz K | DEN

Saints' Wil Lutz: Career-high four field goals

Lutz made all four of his field-goal attempts, as well as his only extra-point kick, in Sunday's win against the Seahawks.

Lutz had a career day against Seattle, converting kicks of 21, 22, 41, and 53 yards. The undrafted rookie from Georgia State now has made three field goals of 50 or more yards this season and hit 11 of 15 field-goal attempts in total. He has the confidence of head coach Sean Payton, and backed by a Drew Brees-led offense, Lutz should continue to see plenty of opportunities in the second half.

  • Matt Prater K | BUF

Lions' Matt Prater: Misses field goal in second consecutive game

Prater converted two of three field-goal attempts as well as his only PAT during Sunday's game against the Texans.

Though Detroit was largely stifled by the Texans' tough pass defense, Prater still received three field-goal attempts on the day. However, the veteran leg, for the third time this season, was unable to connect on all three. Rather, he again tied his season-high of two conversions. Up next for Prater and the Lions is a visit to Minnesota for a contest in which points may be hard to come by.

  • Cairo Santos K | CHI

Chiefs' Cairo Santos: Perfect in kicking game against New Orleans

Santos finished Sunday's game a perfect 2-for-2 on field goal attempts and made all three extra-point attempts.

After a couple of shaky weeks in the kicking game, Santos appears to have found his groove once again. With a lackluster Colts defense on deck for the Chiefs, he could have another week with multiple field goal attempts ahead.

  • Broncos' Brandon McManus: Converts two field goals on Monday night

McManus connected on all three of his PAT attempts and nailed field goals of 22 and 32 yards in Monday's win over the Texans.

It was McManus' fourth consecutive game with at least two field goals - the benefit of playing on an offense good enough to get into opponent's territory but inconsistent in finding the end zone. McManus' 14 total field goals rank seventh in the league near the half-way point, though he has yet to use the Rocky Mountain air to convert a 50-yarder.

  • Steelers' Chris Boswell: Misses pair of field-goal attempts

Boswell converted three of five field-goal attempts and his only PAT during Sunday's game against the Patriots.

The 60 percent accuracy certainly left points on the table for fantasy owners, but Boswell's game-long kick from 46 yards out proved he possesses the leg necessary to convert field goals from distance. With Ben Roethlisberger (knee) uncertain to return even after the Steelers' Week 8 bye, Boswell may continue to be relied on to rack up points for a sputtering, Landry Jones-led offense.

  • Eagles' Caleb Sturgis: Connects on both field-goal attempts

Sturgis converted both of his field-goal attempts and his only PAT during Sunday's 21-10 victory over the Vikings.

Sturgis has operated as one of the more consistent fantasy options at kicker all season, having converted at least two kicks in every game and only missing one attempt on the year. With the Eagles' offense having largely been able to move the ball effectively as well, Sturgis' fantasy totals have concurrently been supplemented with a healthy dose of PATs. However, the Eagles will travel to Dallas in Week 8 to take on a Cowboys defense allowing the sixth-least points per game to opposing offenses this year.

  • Rams' Greg Zuerlein: Stays perfect leading into Week 8 bye

Zuerlein converted a 36-yard field goal and an extra point during Sunday's game against the Giants.

Zuerlein has converted all 10 of his field-goal attempts along with each of his 12 extra-point opportunities this season. However, the lack of volume significantly limits his fantasy value. It's also unlikely the Rams emerge from their Week 8 bye in a better position to provide Zuerlein with more opportunities, so he'll probably continue to return underwhelming fantasy numbers.

  • Matt Bryant K | ATL

Falcons' Matt Bryant: Hits six kicks in overtime loss

Bryant connected on three field goals and three extra points in Sunday's overtime loss to the Falcons.

Although he hit six kicks, it's the seventh one that will bother Bryant when looking back at this game. The 41-year-old hit the left upright from 58 yards as time expired in the fourth, and the Falcons eventually fell to the Chargers in overtime. It was an ambitious attempt for the veteran kicker, and although he had the distance, it came down just left of the intended target. That was Bryant's only miss of the season, so he's still a top-tier kicker on an explosive offense.

  • Matt Prater K | BUF

Lions' Matt Prater: Two-for-three against Redskins

Prater converted two of three field-goal attempts and both of his PATs during the Lions' 20-17 victory over the Redskins on Sunday.

Prater finally wasn't needed to secure the win this week, as QB Matthew Stafford found receiver Anquan Boldin for an 18-yard go-ahead touchdown with 16 seconds remaining. However, that possession may not have occurred had Prater not missed one of his field-goal attempts. After a three-week stretch of playing at home, Prater will now travel to Houston in Week 8.
