Drew Lock QB | SEA
Broncos' Drew Lock: Takes in practice from sideline
Lock was a spectator at the part of the Broncos' practice open to the media Tuesday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports.
Lock was knocked out of the Broncos' Week 2 loss in Pittsburgh with what was later termed a rotator/labral issue in his right throwing shoulder. The given timeline for a recovery was 2-to-6 weeks, so he reached the front end of that window last week. Tuesday's session was an unofficial one, so Lock's true status won't be updated until Denver releases its first Week 5 injury report Wednesday. With Lock out of the lineup, Jeff Driskel started Week 3 but Brett Rypien handled those duties Week 4, and Blake Bortles has been learning the system the past two weeks. If Lock us unable to return Sunday in New England, it's unclear who among the aforementioned trio will get the next shot to start under center.

Josh Allen QB | BUF
Bills' Josh Allen: Shoulder injury minor
Asked about the condition of Allen's injured left shoulder Monday, coach Sean McDermott said, "Josh is in pretty good shape, as of this morning," Dante Lasting of the Bills' official site reports.
Although Allen didn't miss any plays, he landed on the shoulder awkwardly in the Week 4 win over Las Vegas and had to go to the locker room for evaluation, while Bills Nation collectively held its breath. We'd be surprised if Allen misses any time since the injury is now officially not considered severe and it's to his non-throwing arm. The third-year quarterback has been nothing short of excellent this season with 12 TD passes and three rushing scores to go with one interception, though the shoulder could potentially limit him in practice this week. It's also worth noting that Buffalo's Week 5 opponent -- the Titans -- still has to work through a COVID-19 outbreak before the game can go off as scheduled in the early wave Sunday.

Tua Tagovailoa QB | ATL
Dolphins' Tua Tagovailoa: Not starting yet
Tagovailoa will remain a reserve for Sunday's game at San Francisco, Cameron Wolfe of ESPN.com reports.
Coach Brian Flores seemed to hint that a QB change was possible when he wouldn't commit to Ryan Fitzpatrick as the starter for Week 5 on Monday. Just one day later, though, Fitzpatrick will continue to direct the offense, at least to begin Sunday's outing. On a positive note, the veteran's completed a career-best 69 percent of his passes, but Miami is sitting on a 1-3 record. Tagovailoa has been active for each of those games but has yet to experience his first NFL snap. Perhaps the 2020 first-rounder will do just that if Fitzpatrick stumbles this weekend.

Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT
Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Throws four scores in victory
Rodgers completed 27 of 33 passes for 327 yards and four touchdowns in Monday night's 30-16 win over the Falcons.
Rodgers continued his superb start to the season without his top two wideouts, Davante Adams (hamstring) and Allen Lazard (abdomen). With them sidelined, Green Bay featured tailbacks Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams prominently in the passing game, with Jones catching Rodgers' first touchdown, but it was tight end Robert Tonyan who stole the show. The little-known pass catcher was on the receiving end of each of Rodgers' other three touchdowns, resulting in another high-scoring showing from the Packers. With Rodgers leading the way, he's now accumulated 13 touchdowns versus zero interceptions through four outings. Clearly firing on all cylinders heading into the bye week, Rodgers will be full of confidence while also anticipating Adams' return when the team reconvenes ahead of the Week 6 showdown against Tom Brady and the Buccaneers.

Jarrett Stidham QB | DEN
Patriots' Jarrett Stidham: Rough time in mop-up duty
Stidham entered the Patriots' 26-10 loss to the Chiefs on Monday night with 42 seconds remaining in the third quarter and completed five of 13 passes for 60 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. He also gained three yards on two rushes.
Stidham took over for Brian Hoyer and had an eventful last quarter-plus. The second-year signal-caller saw his first pass attempt picked off by Tyrann Mathieu, but the interception was subsequently nullified by a pass interference penalty. However, he'd have no such luck later in the evening, when Mathieu got his hands on a ball that deflected off Julian Edelman's hands and returned it 25 yards for a touchdown with 8:48 remaining. Stidham's one bright spot came on a four-yard touchdown toss -- the first of his career -- to N'Keal Harry to cap off his first drive early in the fourth quarter. With Hoyer not doing much to stand out in his own right Monday, it's possible Stidham gets the starting nod in Week 5 against the Broncos if Cam Newton (illness) remains sidelined for that contest.

Patrick Mahomes QB | KC
Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes: Tosses two touchdowns in win
Mahomes completed 19 of 29 passes for 236 yards and two touchdowns in Monday night's 26-10 win over the Patriots. He also rushed eight times for 28 yards.
Mahomes didn't light up the box score like usual, but he still managed a couple scores against the well-coached New England defense. However, neither of the quarterback's touchdown tosses actually traveled past the line of scrimmage, as both were six-yard, shovel-style scores in the second half. To his credit, though, Mahomes also made an impact on the ground, boosting his production overall. While it wasn't a vintage performance from Mahomes, he'll still be pleased by maintaining his team's unbeaten record and his turnover-free start. Next up is a divisional clash with the Raiders in Week 5.

Brian Hoyer QB | LV
Patriots' Brian Hoyer: Lackluster showing in loss
Hoyer completed 15 of 24 passes for 130 yards with no touchdowns and one interception in the Patriots' 26-10 loss to the Chiefs on Monday night. He also gained eight yards on his sole rush and lost a fumble before being replaced by Jarrett Stidham late in the third quarter.
The veteran quarterback drew the start for Cam Newton (illness), but even Hoyer's extensive experience in coordinator Josh McDaniels' offense couldn't help him to a competent performance against an aggressive KC defense. A miscue ultimately proved his undoing, as Hoyer fumbled at the Chiefs' eight-yard line to short-circuit New England's best drive of the night in the latter portion of the third quarter. That eventually led to Stidham mopping up after that point, and although the second-year signal-caller was guilty of a pick-six on a deflected ball off the hands of Julian Edelman, he may be in line for a Week 5 start against the Broncos over Hoyer if Newton is still sidelined for that contest.

Jordan Love QB | GB
Packers' Jordan Love: Sits out Week 4
Love (coach's decision) is inactive for the Packers' Week 4 matchup against Atlanta.
Love battled an illness in the middle of the week, but he was able to practice fully Saturday and enter Monday without an injury designation. Nevertheless, he'll remain inactive, which was also his status for the first three games this season. Tim Boyle will serve as the backup quarterback.

Mike White QB | CAR
Mike White: Joins Jets' practice squad
White signed to the Jets' practice squad Monday.
The 25-year-old will provide some extra quarterback depth with starter Sam Darnold's status in doubt after suffering a sprained AC joint in his right shoulder. Joe Flacco and James Morgan are already on the active roster, so it's unlikely White will receive a promotion without another injury to the quarterback group.

Sam Darnold QB | SEA
Jets' Sam Darnold: Wants to play Week 5
Darnold (shoulder) said Monday that he hopes to play through his sprained AC joint during Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Andy Vasquez of The Bergen Record reports.
Darnold remained non-committal about whether he'll practice Wednesday, which Ian Rapoport of NFL Network previously hinted would go a long way in determining his Week 5 availability. The third-year signal-caller did note that he "feels good" after having played through the injury last Thursday, per Ethan B. Greenberg of the Jets' official site. Whether Darnold is able to suit up versus Arizona will likely be determined by whether he's able to throw in practices to begin the week, so Joe Flacco will remain ready in the event that he's called upon to enter the lineup.
