Head coach Dirk Koetter hinted that Winston aggravated his injured right shoulder during Sunday's 17-3 loss to the Panthers, ESPN.com's Jenna Laine reports. "Jameis did take a shot early in the fourth quarter and he was hurting a little bit after that," Koetter said. "I thought he might have to come out, but he stayed in. It was on the first play of a drive and he stayed in and we kept doing and the game flow went. I haven't talked to him since about that."

Winston was unable to finish out a Week 6 loss to the Cardinals after spraining the AC joint in his throwing shoulder, but he bounced back Week 7 to throw for 384 yards and three scores in a 30-27 loss to the Bills. Coming off his worst performance of the season Sunday against Carolina, the third-year quarterback presumably will show up on the injury report as the Bucs prepare for Sunday's game in New Orleans.

Cousins completed 26 of 39 pass attempts for 263 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 33-19 loss to the Cowboys. He also threw an interception and lost a fumble.

Rain was a huge factor in this game, as the two teams combined for five fumbles. Despite many short-range attempts, Cousins finally got some production out of his wide receivers in this one. Fourteen of his completions went to Jamison Crowder and Ryan Grant for 161 yards, including two completions of over 25 yards. It will be much tougher to repeat that performance in Week 9, as the Redskins travel to Seattle to take on the Seahawks.

Stafford completed 27 of 45 passes for 423 yards during Sunday's 20-15 loss to the Steelers. He added 11 rushing yards on his lone carry.

Stafford's day went smoother than expected thanks to an impressive performance from his injury-depleted offensive line that was going against one of the best defenses in the league. However, he was seemingly reliant on big plays the entire evening and failed to find paydirt despite having numerous chances in the red zone. While this was only his first zero-touchdown performance of the season, Stafford was blanked on six occasions last season (including playoffs), which shows the downside of captaining the Lions' one-dimensional offense.

Prescott completed 14 of 22 pass attempts for 143 yards and no touchdowns in Sunday's 33-19 win over the Redskins. He also rushed three times for 16 yards.

Fantasy owners need not fear, as the Cowboys opted to let Ezekiel Elliott handle the bulk of the work due to the heavy rain falling during most of the contest. The Dallas defense also recovered two fumbles and blocked a field-goal try that gave the offense several gifts with a short field. With the weather making it hard to sustain longer drives, they settled for five field-goal attempts. Prescott will be back to his usual self in Week 9 when Dallas returns home to face Kansas City.

Watson completed 19 of 30 pass attempts for 402 yards, four touchdowns and three interceptions Sunday against the Seahawks. He also gained 67 yards on eight carries in the 41-38 loss.

Watson was the beneficiary of some huge plays in this one, including touchdown passes of 59 and 72 yards to Will Fuller and DeAndre Hopkins, respectively. He also gashed Seattle as a runner, averaging 8.4 yards per carry as he tied his career high in rushing yards. Unfortunately, Watson also turned the ball over three times, including a pick-six by Earl Thomas in the first quarter and an interception by Richard Sherman as he tried to put his team in position to kick the tying field goal. Still, the incredibly productive start to Watson's career continued, as he set the NFL rookie record for touchdown passes through the first seven games. Already a Rookie of the Year frontrunner, he'll face a favorable matchup against the Colts in Week 9.

Wilson completed 26 of 41 passes for 452 yards with four touchdowns and an interception in Sunday's 41-38 win over the Texans.

Wilson added 30 yards on four carries, scrambling for chunks of 22 and 12 yards on a drive late in the fourth quarter. The series ended with an ugly interception, but he bounced back shortly thereafter to lead a game-winning drive that covered 80 yards on only three snaps. Wilson had completions of 48, 53, 54 and 66 yards, though each of his four touchdowns came in the red zone. Given that Seattle has yet to establish any kind of running game, Wilson figures to stay busy in a Week 9 home game against the Redskins. He's now on pace for 4,590 passing yards and 34 touchdowns, after establishing a new career-high mark for yardage in Sunday's dramatic win.

Trubisky completed 14 of 32 passes for 164 yards and an interception during Sunday's 20-12 loss to the Saints. He added 53 yards on three carries.

Trubisky set up Chicago's lone touchdown of the game late in the fourth quarter when he stepped up in the pocket and found a lot of real estate in front of him, taking off for a 46-yard gain. He wasn't quite as exciting throwing the ball save for a 45-yard completion to Tre McBride, whom he later overshot for a game-sealing interception. Trubisky failed to complete half of his passes for the second time in four starts and, however lowly his 164 passing yards were, they still represent a season high. Don't expect much change. John Fox is the same coach who rode defense and the running game to a division title with Tim Tebow in Denver. Trubisky is obviously a more polished passer than Tebow, but Fox has to see that his team is 2-0 when his quarterback throws fewer than 20 times and 1-5 when his team throws it 20 times or more. Expect Trubisky to remain reined in after the bye against a Green Bay team that gave fellow quarterback Mike Glennon fits in Week 4.

Carr completed 31 of 49 passes for 313 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions in Sunday's 34-14 loss to Buffalo.

Carr has thrown 101 passes in the past two weeks, accumulating 730 yards in the process. It's been, in a lot of ways, a welcomed progression for Carr -- who had been held under 200 yards in three consecutive games. At the same time, it's hard not to see that the $125 million man and Oakland's offense as a whole have regressed since Oakland canned former coordinator Bill Musgrave and replaced him with Todd Downing, Carr's former position coach. Carr has tossed multiple picks in three of his last five games. For perspective, Carr had three such games in his previous 37 outings.

Winston (shoulder) struggled in Sunday's 17-3 loss to the Panthers, completing 21 of 38 passes for 210 yards with two interceptions while rushing three times for 13 yards and losing a fumble.

Winston's 5.5 yards per attempt were his lowest since Week 4 of the 2016 season, as he struggled to get anything going despite throwing at least 38 passes for the fifth time in seven games. The third-year signal caller has been inconsistent despite seeing plenty of volume in an offense stocked with talented receiving threats, throwing for at least 328 yards in four games and no more than 210 in the other three.

Beathard completed 17 of 36 passes for 167 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions while rushing six times for 40 yards in Sunday's 33-10 loss to the Eagles.

Beathard didn't get much help from the rest of his team's offense, as no other player broke 30 rushing yards or 40 receiving yards. The rookie third-rounder out of Iowa once again showed the ability to make plays with his legs after scoring a rushing touchdown last week, but his team has been outscored 73-20 in his two starts. Beathard shouldn't be on your radar outside of two-quarterback formats.
