Kendre Miller RB | NO
Saints' Kendre Miller: Sees first action of season
Miller rushed six times for 36 yards and secured two of three targets for one yard in the Saints' 33-10 loss to the Broncos on Thursday night.
The oft-injured 2023 third-round pick made his season debut following a long recovery from a hamstring injury sustained back in late July. Miller saw only two of his touches before the game was fully out of hand, but he looked good while gaining 25 of his rushing yards on back-to-back carries during the Saints' final drive. Now finally healthy, Miller could eventually start eating into Jamaal Williams' touches as the No. 2 running back, although the former will have to prove that consistent health is no longer elusive.

Alvin Kamara RB | NO
Saints' Alvin Kamara: Stymied in Week 7 loss
Kamara rushed seven times for 10 yards and brought in six of seven targets for 14 yards in the Saints' 33-10 loss to the Broncos on Thursday night.
Kamara appeared to fall victim to a perfect storm of unfavorable circumstances, with New Orleans definitely swimming upstream against adversity Thursday night. Not only was Kamara playing through a hand injury on a short week, he was up against one of the league's better defenses through the first six weeks and facing them with his team's passing game significantly short on weapons. The collection of factors predictably led to Kamara's least productive game of the season yet, with both his rushing and receiving yardage totals qualifying as season lows. Even the additional passing game work Kamara stood to see never really materialized, but he should be in a much better position overall by the time a Week 8 road matchup against the Chargers on Sunday, Oct. 27 rolls around.

Javonte Williams RB | DAL
Broncos' Javonte Williams: Pair of touchdowns in win
Williams rushed 14 times for 88 yards and two touchdowns while bringing in all three targets for 23 yards in the Broncos' 33-10 win over the Saints on Thursday night.
Williams put together a season-best effort in the lopsided win, recording his first two touchdowns of the campaign on eight- and five-yard rushes in the second and third quarters, respectively. His rushing yardage total was also a season high, and he extended his streak of games with multiple receptions to six. After a nightmarish start to the season that saw Williams net 52 rushing yards on 24 carries over the first three games, the fourth-year back has bounced back to average 5.1 yards per carry over the subsequent four contests. Williams will have a golden opportunity to extend his productive stretch of play when the Broncos host the Panthers in a Week 8 matchup on Sunday, Oct. 27.

Zamir White RB | LV
Raiders' Zamir White: Stays limited in practice
White (groin) practiced on a limited basis Thursday, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
Stretching back to last week, White now has been listed as limited on three consecutive injury reports. He's aiming to put an end to a two-game absence due to a groin issue that first emerged at the start of Week 5 prep. Friday's report will give a sense of White's chances to return to action Sunday at the Rams. If White is inhibited or out for that contest, Alexander Mattison likely would serve as the Raiders' lead back, with Ameer Abdullah handling a change-of-pace role.

Kendre Miller RB | NO
Saints' Kendre Miller: Active for first time this season
Miller (hamstring) is listed as active Thursday versus the Broncos.
For the first time this season, Miller is available to the Saints offense after completing his recovery from a hamstring injury that he sustained early in training camp. Having said that, Alvin Kamara also is suiting up, which means he should be good for his typical workload of 22 touches per game. As a result, Miller likely will be hard-pressed to see much, if any, action behind Kamara and Jamaal Williams.

Rasheen Ali RB | BAL
Ravens' Rasheen Ali: Now dealing with ankle injury
Ali (ankle) was a limited participant in practice Thursday, Cordell Woodland of 105.7 The Fan Baltimore reports.
Ali missed the first five games of the regular season due to a neck injury, but he was able to return for Week 6 against the Commanders, during which he logged nine snaps on special teams. It appears the rookie fifth-rounder picked up an ankle injury in the process, which limited his practice participation Thursday. Ali will have two more chances to upgrade his practice participation ahead of Monday's showdown against the Buccaneers.

Jordan Mason RB | MIN
49ers' Jordan Mason: Another limited showing
Mason (shoulder) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Mason continues to deal with the AC joint sprain that he suffered in his left shoulder last Thursday in Seattle. Per Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com, Mason has been wearing a blue non-contact jersey in practice this week, which resulted in a cap in his reps. Mason thus has only one more opportunity to get back to full participation Friday before the 49ers potentially hand him a designation for Sunday's matchup with the Chiefs. If Mason is at all inhibited or even sidelined this weekend, Isaac Guerendo would be the biggest beneficiary out of San Francisco's backfield, while Patrick Taylor likely would pick up a few touches along the way.

Blake Watson RB | TEN
Blake Watson: Let go by Denver
The Broncos waived Watson from the active roster Thursday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports.
Watson signed with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent in late April. He was able to make the final 53-man roster at the end of training camp, but his lone appearance of the regular season came in Week 5 against the Raiders, when he played just one snap each on offense and special teams. Should he clear waivers, Watson will look to sign with a team in need of backfield depth.

D'Onta Foreman RB | CLE
Browns' D'Onta Foreman: Remains limited in practice
Foreman (groin) was a limited practice participant Thursday.
There are a bunch of moving parts in the Cleveland backfield, with Jerome Ford (hamstring) missing a second straight practice Thursday while Nick Chubb (knee) was a full participant again. Foreman lands in the middle, having logged limited practices Wednesday and Thursday, but he may not have much of a role with Chubb on track to return for Sunday's matchup with the Bengals.

Tyjae Spears RB | TEN
Titans' Tyjae Spears: Another missed practice
Spears (hamstring) remained sidelined at practice Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Spears, who also missed Wednesday's session, has one more chance to practice ahead of Sunday's game against the Bills. If Spears is unable to play this weekend, offensive coordinator Nick Holz told Wyatt on Thursday that Tony Pollard would likely get bulk of the Titans' work at running back, with Julius Chestnut and possibly Joshua Kelley also mixing in.
