Coach Kevin Stefanski said Monday that Njoku (ankle) is week-to-week, Jake Trotter of ESPN.com reports.

Njoku suffered a left ankle sprain during Sunday's 23-20 loss at Baltimore, and he was spotted wearing a walking boot after the game. It looks as though the athletic tight end could be in danger of missing time due to the injury, in which case Harrison Bryant would stand to operate as Cleveland's top tight end. Until such time as Njoku officially is ruled out for Week 8, though, his status in practice will need to be monitored.

Hendershot caught both his targets for five yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over the Lions.

The rookie tight end was wide open in the back of the end zone on a two-yard strike from Dak Prescott late in the fourth quarter, giving Hendershot his first TD in the NFL. With Dalton Schultz healthy and fellow rookie Jake Ferguson also flashing this season when he's gotten the opportunity, however, Hendershot is little more than a dart throw from a fantasy perspective, even if the Dallas passing game takes a step forward with Prescott back under center.

Moreau caught three of five targets for 28 yards in Sunday's 38-20 win over the Texans.

Moreau drew the start at tight end in his return from a two-game absence while Darren Waller (hamstring) remained on the shelf, and the former finished the contest behind only Davante Adams in targets for the Raiders. Moreau's increased involvement should continue against the Saints in Week 8 if Waller is limited or absent.

Schultz caught all five of his targets for 49 yards in Sunday's win over the Lions.

After playing just nine snaps over the last two weeks due to knee trouble, Schultz returned to a regular role in the offense just in time to reunite with Dak Prescott, who also was back in action for the first time since Week 1. Schultz tied Noah Brown for the team lead in receptions on the afternoon, but his fantasy performance could have been bigger, as rookie tight end Peyton Hendershot was on the other end of a Prescott TD pass instead of Schultz late in the fourth quarter. The senior TE still appears to be Prescott's favorite security blanket, however, giving him a solid fantasy floor heading into a Week 8 matchup with the Bears.

Tonyan was targeted four times and caught three passes for 32 yards in Sunday's 23-21 loss to the Commanders.

Tonyan set season highs for targets, receptions and yardage in Week 6, but he was held in check Sunday by a Washington defense that has made a habit of shutting down tight ends this season. The matchup won't get any easier the next time out, as Tonyan will take on a Bills team that has been nearly as stingy against tight ends as the Commanders and has not allowed any player at that position to find paydirt this season.

Uzomah caught one of two targets for five yards in Sunday's 16-9 win over the Broncos.

The Jets utilized their tight ends a bit more in the passing game as Denver's pass rush made it tough to push the ball downfield, but six of Zach Wilson's eight throws to tight ends were directed at Tyler Conklin. Uzomah won't have much of a pass-catching role as long as Conklin's healthy, as the former Bengals tight end has yet to see more than two targets in a game with the Jets.

Akins caught three of four targets for a team-high 68 yards in Sunday's 38-20 loss to the Raiders.

He continued his strong play at the tight end position and appears to be clicking with quarterback Davis Mills. Akins was given an opportunity with Brevin Jordan sidelined the last three weeks and played himself from the practice squad to the active roster. However, Jordan returned Sunday and led the position group in snaps, and he could eat into Akins' opportunities going forward.

Jordan failed to catch any of his four targets and played 30 snaps (46 percent) in Sunday's 38-20 loss to Las Vegas.

Jordan returned from an ankle injury to lead Houston tight ends in snaps, but he and quarterback Davis Mills did not mesh well. Instead, it was Jordan Akins, back from exile, who was the biggest threat as he led the position group with three catches on four targets for 68 yards. Long term, Jordan is considered the higher-upside receiving threat, so his quiet performance may just be a matter of getting over his injury.

Fant caught one of three targets for seven yards in Sunday's 37-23 win over the Chargers.

Fant battled an illness early in the practice week, but he handled a season-high 73 percent snap share in Week 7 anyway. However, the 2019 first-round pick finished behind both Will Dissly (four catches for 45 yards) and Colby Parkinson (one catch for 28 yards) in production. Fant hasn't been dependable for fantasy purposes this season, as he hasn't produced more than 50 yards in a game yet.

Bryant caught both his targets for 15 yards in Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Ravens.

By the fourth quarter, the Browns were down two tight ends and Bryant was the lone healthy body left at the position. The team's bye week is not until Week 9, so the tight end room will be sparse to start preparations for Week 8 against the Bengals after both David Njoku (ankle) and Pharaoh Brown (neck) left the loss to Baltimore. Njoku tweeted he'll "be back soon," while Adam Schefter of ESPN reports his injury "isn't serious." Brown is being evaluated for a concussion, per Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal. Pending the status of the injured players, Bryant could take on a larger role next week at home.
