T.J. Hockenson TE | MIN
Lions' T.J. Hockenson: Sitting out in Week 14
Hockenson (hand) is inactive for Sunday's game at Denver.
After opening Week 14 prep with a limited session, Hockenson didn't practice at all Thursday and Friday. In the process, he was seen Thursday with a heavy wrap on his left hand, an injury that will force his first absence since the 2019 season finale. With Hockenson sidelined, the Lions will trot out undrafted rookie Brock Wright and practice squad member Shane Zylstra at tight end.

Brevin Jordan TE | HOU
Texans' Brevin Jordan: Part of crowded TE mix Sunday
Jordan is one of five tight end options the Texans have available for Sunday's game against the Seahawks, Brooks Kubena of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Jordan was listed as questionable with a hand injury heading into the contest, but he is in uniform, so it remains to be seen if he might be limited in any way Sunday. The Texans may simply be mixing things up at the position, with Davis Mills back in as the team's starting QB. Also in Houston's Week 14 TE mix are Pharaoh Brown, Jordan Akins, Antony Auclair and Jeff Driskel, a context that makes Jordan a speculative fantasy option versus Seattle.
-
Jordan Akins TE | JAC
Texans' Jordan Akins: Returns to mix Sunday
Akins is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Seahawks, Brooks Kubena of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Akins is thus active for the first time since Week 9, and in the process, will provide the Texans with added TE depth Sunday. With Pharaoh Brown and Brevin Jordan also in the mix, however, Akins remains a speculative fantasy option.
-
Sean McKeon TE | IND
Cowboys' Sean McKeon: Scratched with neck injury
McKeon is inactive for Sunday's game against Washington due to a neck injury, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
McKeon was added to the Cowboys' injury report Thursday after he was limited in practice that day on account of the neck issue, but he didn't carry a designation into the weekend after practicing fully Friday. Evidently, the tight end suffered some sort of setback after Friday's practice, resulting in him being inactive for the first time since being activated from injured reserve Week 9. With McKeon out, Jeremy Sprinkle is expected to serve as the No. 2 tight end behind starter Dalton Schultz.

Brevin Jordan TE | HOU
Texans' Brevin Jordan: Listed as active Sunday
Jordan (hand) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Seahawks.
The 2021 fifth-rounder is available for those who need him in deeper fantasy formats, but with Pharaoh Brown and Jordan Akins also in the Texan' tight end mix, Jordan is a speculative lineup option in QB Davis Mills' return to the starting lineup.

Ethan Wolf TE | NO
Saints' Ethan Wolf: Bumped up from practice squad
Wolf was elevated to the active roster Sunday, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.
Wolf went undrafted out of Tennessee and has spent time on the Colts and Rams practice squads before joining the Saints in 2020. He's yet to be active for an NFL game but that looks likely to change Sunday against the Jets.
-
Tommy Hudson TE | NO
Titans' Tommy Hudson: Lands on IR
Hudson (ankle) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
Hudson had already been ruled out of Sunday's game against Jacksonville with the ankle issue, but he'll now be out until at least Week 17. He had been sidelined with an ankle injury earlier this season and has only been active for two games as a result.
-
Zach Ertz TE | WAS
Cardinals' Zach Ertz: All clear for divisional showdown
Ertz (shoulder) was not listed on the team's final injury report ahead of Monday's matchup against the Rams, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Ertz was a full participant in Saturday's practice after being limited in the previous two, setting the stage for the veteran tight end to get the all-clear ahead of Monday's pivotal contest. The 31-year-old had just one reception in last week's run-heavy win over the Bears, but he previously had at least three catches in each of the last six contests.
-
Hayden Hurst TE | LAC
Falcons' Hayden Hurst: Returns to active roster
Hurst (ankle) was activated from injured reserve Saturday.
Hurst missed the Falcons' last three games while on injured reserve and should provide a boost behind starting tight end Kyle Pitts. Hurst recorded 20 receptions on 25 targets for 158 yards and a touchdown through the first nine games for Atlanta. He should be a reliable safety blanket for quarterback Matt Ryan this Sunday as the Falcons go up against a Carolina defense that has allowed the second-fewest passing yards-per-game (176.7) and recorded the fourth-most sacks (32) in the NFL this season.
