Jacob Hollister TE | CAR
Patriots' Jacob Hollister: Returns to practice, ready for Sunday
Hollister (hamstring) practiced Friday and will play against the Jaguars on Sunday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
Hollister missed out of the season opener due to this hamstring issue, but he's now ready to make his 2018 debut. He shouldn't be on many fantasy radars behind Rob Gronkowski and Dwayne Allen on the depth chart.

Hunter Henry TE | NE
Chargers' Hunter Henry: Runs with knee brace Friday
Henry ran diagonal sprints with a brace on his right knee Friday, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports. "It's so soon," coach Anthony Lynn said. "I was amazed at how he looked today. He's been doing stuff on the side all along, but today he kind of took it to another level."
The Chargers made curious moves by placing Henry on the PUP list at the start of training camp and keeping him there after cutting the roster to 53 on Sept. 1. Despite tearing the ACL in his right knee on May 22, there seemed to be some hope that he'd be able to return during the postseason, but Friday's development may move up that timetable by the sound of Lynn's comments. While Henry continues his recovery, Antonio Gates and Virgil Green will split the TE reps between them.

Tyler Kroft TE | MIA
Bengals' Tyler Kroft: Small output again
Kroft had two catches for 11 yards in the Bengals' win over the Ravens on Thursday.
On the bright side, Kroft doubled his snap count from 17 to 34. On the increasingly dour side, he was in there to block on many of those snaps, and third-string tight end C.J. Uzomah was more active in the passing game. Kroft is waiver bait unless and until Tyler Eifert gets hurt again.

Mark Andrews TE | BAL
Ravens' Mark Andrews: Catches first NFL touchdown
Andrews caught three of four targets for 17 yards and a touchdown in Thursday's loss against the Bengals.
The rookie scored his first NFL touchdown late in the first half to pull the Ravens within two scores heading into halftime. Andrews has drawn eight targets through two games -- a bigger role than most could have envisioned for the rookie considering Baltimore's deep tight end rotation. Even though Nick Boyle and Maxx Williams continue to see plenty of snaps thanks to their blocking ability, Andrews' pass-catching ability will keep him on the field. It will be interesting to see how the dynamic changes once Hayden Hurst (foot) returns, but for now, Andrews should have a role in the passing game.

C.J. Uzomah TE | PHI
Bengals' C.J. Uzomah: Outproduces Eifert in Week 2 win
Uzomah secured three of four targets for 45 yards in the Bengals' 34-23 win over the Ravens on Thursday.
Although he was outpaced by starter Tyler Eifert by 12 snaps Thursday, Uzomah was the more productive of the two. The fourth-year pro showed some upside as a pass catcher two seasons ago with a 25-234-1 line over 10 games, and with the Bengals looking to preserve the injury-prone Eifert for all 16 games, Uzomah could see his fair share of playing time and targets between the 20s throughout the campaign.

Chris Manhertz TE | NYG
Panthers' Chris Manhertz: Will see more time with Olsen out
Panthers head coach Ron Rivera said he expects Manhertz, Ian Thomas and fullback Alex Armah to share all the reps at tight end Sunday against the Falcons, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
With Greg Olsen (foot) expected to sit out at least the next few games, the Panthers will have a major void to fill at tight end beginning in Week 2. Rather than signing another player to add depth at the position, Carolina seems content deploying Armah when needed, but Thomas and Manhertz seem likely to handle the overwhelming share of the duties. Thanks to his superior speed and athleticism, Thomas is the most likely of the trio to see involvement as a pass catcher and offer fantasy utility, while Manhertz and Armah project mainly as blockers. Over 24 career NFL games, Manhertz has hauled in just three passes for 27 yards.

Austin Hooper TE | ATL
Falcons' Austin Hooper: Puts in full session
Hooper (knee) was a full participant in the Falcons' practice Thursday, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Though there hadn't been any reports that Hooper picked up an injury in the Falcons' season-opening loss to the Eagles, the 23-year-old ended up being limited by the knee issue during Wednesday's session. Hooper's advancement to full participation a day later suggests the injury was only a mild concern. Expect Hooper to see ample playing time once again Week 2 against the Panthers after he logged 59 of a possible 70 offensive snaps in the opener.

Jevoni Robinson TE | HOU
Jevoni Robinson: Reaches injury settlement
Robinson (undisclosed) and the Texans agreed to an injury settlement Wednesday.
Robinson didn't have a shot at making the Texan's final roster even before suffering his undisclosed injury and was ultimately waived from Houston's IR with an injury settlement. The 6-foot-7 former professional basketball player is now free to look for an opportunity elsewhere in the league once healthy.

Austin Hooper TE | ATL
Falcons' Austin Hooper: Limited in Wednesday's practice
Hooper was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice due to a knee injury, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Hooper's knee issue comes as a mild surprise given that there weren't any reports of an injury coming out of last week's loss to the Eagles. Should he recover from the setback in time to play Sunday against the Panthers, Hooper could struggle to see much work in the passing game. The Panthers put the clamps on Dallas' short-passing game in the season opener, limiting starting tight end Geoff Swaim to 18 receiving yards.

Jacob Hollister TE | CAR
Patriots' Jacob Hollister: Limited at practice
Hollister (hamstring) was limited at practice Wednesday.
When healthy, Hollister provides depth behind star tight end Rob Gronkowski and blocking ace Dwayne Allen. The Wyoming product's fantasy value is limited so long as Gronkowski remains available, however.
