  • Gerald Everett TE | CHI

Chargers' Gerald Everett: No targets in win

Everett failed to draw a target in Monday's 20-3 win over the Colts.

After three straight games with six or more targets, Everett's usage plummeted with little resistance posed by the opposing offense. Typically, Everett has been Justin Herbert's reliable safety net, but the Colts could not contain Keenan Allen, as the reliable wideout drew 10-plus targets in the first half alone. It's possible the offense could play within itself once more in a date with the inconsistent Rams next week.

  • Chargers' Donald Parham: Continues to draw downfield targets

Parham caught one of his two targets for eight yards in the 20-3 win over the Colts on Monday.

Parham continues to be a target in the team's intermediate-to-deep passing attack, as the big-bodied pass catcher had a 20-plus yard reception wiped out due to a holding penalty. Parham might not see many targets and doesn't see enough consistent playing time to warrant fantasy consideration, but it's clear the Chargers want to get him involved downfield for explosive plays

  • Tre' McKitty TE | HOU

Chargers' Tre' McKitty: Just one catch

McKitty snared one of his two targets for 10 yards in the 20-3 win over the Colts on Monday.

McKitty continues to see plenty of snaps as a blocking specialist and has slowly been incorporated into the passing attack more as a result. The second-year tight end has drawn four targets in the past four games after combining for just seven total from Weeks 1-11. Needless to say, McKitty should not be in fantasy consideration unless injuries impact the availability of Donald Parham or Gerald Everett.

  • Jelani Woods TE | NYJ

Colts' Jelani Woods: Shows big-play potential

Woods recorded three receptions on five targets for 43 yards in Monday's 20-3 loss to the Chargers.

Woods saw increased opportunity with Kylen Granson (ankle) sidelined. While the Colts' offense was stalled for much of the game, Woods delivered catches of 17 and 15 yards early in the first quarter to account for the majority of his production and some of the team's better plays. He's been buried on the depth chart for long stretches of his rookie season, though Woods has multiple receptions in three of his last four contests.

  • Scotty Washington: Goes back to practice squad

Washington shifted back to New England's practice squad Monday.

Washington was elevated to the active roster and wound up seeing 20 offensive snaps with both Hunter Henry (knee) and Jonnu Smith (concussion) forced out of Saturday's loss to the Bengals. With the aforementioned duo both questionable for Week 17, it's entirely possible Washington will get elevated from the practice squad once more.

  • Hunter Henry TE | NE

Patriots' Hunter Henry: Day-to-day, chance to play Sunday

Henry (knee) is considered day-to-day but has a chance to play Sunday against Miami, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Henry was knocked out of Saturday's loss to Cincinnati due to a knee injury and, per Rapoport, is still sore, but the issue doesn't appear to be all that serious. Jonnu Smith (head) also suffered an injury Week 16, so New England's tight end room could be seriously depleted for a divisional matchup against Miami on Sunday. The Patriots' practice reports this week could provide further clarity on the statuses of Henry and Smith for Week 17.

  • Will Dissly TE | LAC

Seahawks' Will Dissly: Getting knee checked out

Head coach Pete Carroll said Monday that Dissly banged his knee during Saturday's 24-10 loss to the Chiefs and is set to undergo further testing, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

The knee issue may in part explain why Dissly logged just 38 percent of the snaps on offense -- his lowest share of the season -- Week 16 to finish the day with a 19-yard reception on his lone target. Dissly's upcoming tests should provide a clearer picture of his injury while also helping to clarify whether he'll be available for the Seahawks' Week 17 matchup with the Jets.

  • Seahawks' Colby Parkinson: Best performance of 2022

Parkinson caught three of four targets for 45 yards in Saturday's 24-10 loss to the Chiefs.

With Tyler Lockett (hand) out of the lineup and Marquise Goodwin leaving briefly with a wrist injury, Parkinson handled a season-high 30 offensive snaps and finished with season highs in catches and receiving yards. Most notably, he played more snaps than veteran Will Dissly. We should expect Dissly to reclaim the No. 2 role because he's a skilled run-blocker, but this is a competition worth keeping tabs on in deeper fantasy leagues.

  • Brycen Hopkins TE | LAR

Rams' Brycen Hopkins: Career-high yardage in blowout

Hopkins secured all three of his targets for 57 yards during Sunday's 51-14 victory against the Broncos.

Hopkins saw a significant jump in playing time in Week 16, with his 38 snaps by far a season high, and he responded with the best performance of his young career. In the first quarter, he snagged a 22-yard pass from Baker Mayfield to help set up the first of Tyler Higbee's two touchdowns, and he added receptions of 16 and 19 yards in the second and third quarters. Mayfield fed his tight ends often, generating a combined 12-151-2 line for the position group versus the rest of the team's 12-79-0 line, and while Hopkins will still be an unreliable fantasy option in the short term, this performance against a normally rock-solid Broncos' defense is a good indicator of what Hopkins can do when given an opportunity.

  • Robert Tonyan TE | PIT

Packers' Robert Tonyan: One reception in third straight

Tonyan was targeted twice and caught one pass for 13 yards in Sunday's 26-20 victory over the Dolphins.

Tonyan played the most snaps among Packers tight ends as he usually does, but he finished with just a lone reception for a third straight week and was surprisingly outperformed by Marcedes Lewis. One game was not enough to drop Tonyan behind Lewis when it comes to fantasy options, but it will make it even tougher to trust him in Week 17.
