Nico Collins WR | HOU
Texans' Nico Collins: Team-leading yardage total in loss
Collins brought in four of nine targets for 58 yards in the Texans' 16-9 loss to the Broncos on Sunday.
Collins paced the Texans in receiving yardage while sharing the team lead in receptions with Brandin Cooks. The numbers, including the target share, was a notable improvement from Week 1 for Collins, who posted a 2-26-0 line on just three targets in the tie with the Colts. Collins certainly has the talent and opportunity to grow along with Mills in the Texans offense, and he'll look to carry over his Week 2 momentum into a Week 3 road battle versus the Bears next Sunday.

Tyler Lockett WR | LV
Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Tops century mark in loss
Lockett caught nine of 11 targets for 107 yards in Sunday's 27-7 loss to the 49ers.
It was a surprisingly productive performance for the veteran wideout considering the Seattle offense failed to produce any points at all on the day, as the Seahawks' only score came on a blocked field goal that got returned to the end zone by Mike Jackson. Lockett showed flashes of chemistry with new starting QB Geno Smith last season as well, and this is the second time in Smith's five starts for Seattle he's topped 100 receiving yards. He'll look to keep rolling in Week 3 against a Falcons defense that has already given up huge games to Cooper Kupp (11-108-2), Jarvis Landry (7-114-0) and Michael Thomas (5-57-2) this season.

Brandin Cooks WR | SF
Texans' Brandin Cooks: Double-digit looks in loss
Cooks secured four of 10 targets for 54 yards in the Texans' 16-9 loss to the Broncos on Sunday.
Cooks finished tied with Nico Collins in receptions and also paced the Texans in targets on a busy afternoon. Through two games, the veteran speedster once again appears to be Davis Mills' favorite target, already having garnered a whopping 22 looks in that span. Cooks' next opportunity to build on what is now an 11-136-0 line comes in a Week 3 road interconference clash with the Bears at Soldier Field.

Hunter Renfrow WR | CAR
Raiders' Hunter Renfrow: In concussion protocol
Renfrow caught seven passes for 58 yards on 10 targets against Arizona on Sunday. He also fumbled twice, losing one, and Paul Gutierrez of ESPN reports that Renfrow's being evaluated for a concussion after taking a hit as he fumbled.
Ideally, Renfrow would have posted better numbers in this game, which saw Week 1 target hog Davante Adams finish with just two catches for 12 yards and one touchdown on seven targets. Renfrow's 10 targets led the Raiders, and he's delivered better returns with similar volume in the past so this was largely a missed opportunity. His fumble was also extremely costly, as Renfrow was injured on the play while a Cardinals defender scooped the ball up and returned it for the winning touchdown in overtime. History says Renfrow will turn his future targets into better production than this, but he'll still need to step up against the Titans in Week 3, assuming he's able to play.
-
Davante Adams WR | LAR
Raiders' Davante Adams: Quiet in Week 2
Adams caught two passes for 12 yards and one touchdown on seven targets in the overtime loss to the Cardinals on Sunday.
Credit is owed to Arizona defensive coordinator Vance Joseph, who evidently got the better of Raiders coach Josh McDaniels. Adams is the engine of the Raiders passing game, and the Cardinals managed to deny Las Vegas the chance to get the machine up and running. The Raiders need to and likely will get Adams more involved against Tennessee in Week 3.
-
Jerry Jeudy WR | CLE
Broncos' Jerry Jeudy: Injures ribs in Week 2
Jeudy didn't return after leaving Sunday's game against the Texans, and coach Nathaniel Hackett said the receiver suffered a rib injury, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.
Jeudy's injury was originally believed to be to his shoulder, but it has now been clarified as a rib injury. More importantly, the injury sidelined him for most of Week 2, and Jeudy's status for Denver's Week 3 matchup with the 49ers could be in question.
-
Samori Toure WR | PHI
Packers' Samori Toure: Inactive once again
Toure (coach's decision) is listed as inactive for Sunday's game against the Bears, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.
Toure will be a healthy scratch for a second consecutive week to begin the regular season. The rookie seventh-rounder's next chance to make his professional debut will be next Sunday against the Buccaneers.
-
Velus Jones Jr. RB | SEA
Bears' Velus Jones: Ruled out for Week 2
Jones (hamstring) won't play in Sunday's game against the Packers.
Jones has been officially ruled out for a second consecutive week. The rookie third-round pick will look to heal up in time to make his NFL debut in Week 3 against Houston.
-
Allen Lazard WR | NYJ
Packers' Allen Lazard: Returning to action in Week 2
Lazard (ankle) is active for Sunday's contest versus the Bears, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.
Lazard sat out the Packers' season-opening loss at Minnesota after getting stepped on in practice between the end of the preseason and the beginning of Week 1 prep. He was able to return to practice in a limited capacity in advance of Week 2 action, even mixing into team drills at Friday's session. The preceding seemingly set Lazard up to be available Sunday, and indeed he is. He'll serve as Green Bay's top wide receiver moving forward, but even with Davante Adams out of town, it's unclear if Lazard will be able to attain weekly viability.
-
Jahan Dotson WR | ATL
Commanders' Jahan Dotson: Three TDs through two games
Dotson caught four of five targets for 59 yards and a touchdown while adding a two-point conversion in Sunday's 36-27 loss to Detroit.
Dotson continued to show a nose for the end zone after scoring two touchdowns in his NFL debut. He caught a two-point conversion in the third quarter, then scored from one yard out just after the two-minute warning. Terry McLaurin and Curtis Samuel are more regularly involved when Washington's moving the ball down the field, but Dotson has quickly developed chemistry with quarterback Carson Wentz by the goal line. The rookie first-round pick will look to extend his scoring streak in Week 3 against the Eagles.
