Jacob Cowing WR | SF
49ers' Jacob Cowing: Questionable but still on IR
Cowing (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's wild-card game against the Eagles, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports, but the wide receiver remains on injured reserve.
Cowing would need to be activated from IR prior to Sunday's game to have a chance to suit up. The 2024 fourth-round pick missed the entire 2025 regular season due to a hamstring injury, so he's unlikely to have a substantial role even if he plays.

Mason Rudolph QB | PIT
Steelers' Mason Rudolph: Sees limited action in 2025
Rudolph completed 38 of 52 passes for 310 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions while rushing seven times for six yards over five appearances during the 2025 regular season.
The bulk of Rudolph's playing time during the regular season came in the middle of the year, as he entered the team's Week 11 matchup against Cincinnati in relief after Aaron Rodgers got hurt before starting against the Bears in Week 12. Rudolph will remain under contract with the Steelers for the 2026 campaign, but it wouldn't be surprising to see the team bring in other options at quarterback if Aaron Rodgers retires during the offseason.

Trent Williams OT | SF
49ers' Trent Williams: Questionable to face Eagles
Williams (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's wild-card road game against the Eagles, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Williams mustered limited practices Thursday and Friday after sitting out Wednesday. If the star left tackle returns following his Week 18 absence against Seattle, that would be a big boost to San Francisco's chances against a tough Eagles defense.

Sheldon Rankins DT | HOU
Texans' Sheldon Rankins: Upgrades to full participation
Rankins (elbow) was a full participant in Friday's practice.
Rankins was able to upgrade to a full participant Friday after being limited in Thursday's session. The defensive tackle is all set to suit up for Monday night's wild-card clash with the Steelers. Rankins was able to play through his elbow issue against the Colts in Week 18, logging two tackles on 27 offensive snaps in the victory. The 31-year-old will likely see similar utilization in Monday night's contest.

Derek Stingley Jr. CB | HOU
Texans' Derek Stingley: Full participant Friday
Stingley (oblique) was a full participant in Friday's practice.
Stingley was able to upgrade to a full participant in Friday's practice after being limited Thursday with an oblique injury he suffered in the Week 15 win over the Cardinals. The starting cornerback has played through the injury since suffering it, managing to dodge an injury designation nearly every week. The 24-year-old is all set to suit up for Monday night's wild-card matchup with the Steelers. Stingley will start opposite Kamari Lassiter (ankle/knee) or Tremon Smith, depending on Lassiter's game-day status.

Jonnu Smith TE | PIT
Steelers' Jonnu Smith: Added to injury report Friday
Smith (glute) was limited at practice Friday, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.
Smith worked fully Thursday, so his addition to the Steelers' injury report a day later is notable. Added context regarding the tight end's status for Monday night's playoff opener against the Texans is slated to arrive via Pittsburgh's final injury report Saturday. Though Smith had a five-catch effort Week 17 (when No. 1 wideout DK Metcalf was suspended), his production during the regular season was sporadic, resulting in a 38-222-2 line on 54 targets in 17 contests, a pace well off the career-best numbers he logged with Miami in 2024.

Ricky Pearsall WR | SF
49ers' Ricky Pearsall: Questionable, still no practice
Pearsall (knee/ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Philadelphia despite not practicing at all this week, Noah Furtado of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Despite Pearsall -- who last saw game action in Week 17 -- having missed three straight practices, the 49ers will at least leave the door open for a miraculous recovery at the last minute. Fellow wideouts Demarcus Robinson and Kendrick Bourne will take on more playing time if Pearsall is declared inactive before the team's 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff Sunday.

Kamari Lassiter CB | HOU
Texans' Kamari Lassiter: Limited in Friday's session
Lassiter (ankle/knee) was a limited participant in Friday's practice.
Lassiter was able to upgrade to a limited participant Friday after missing Thursday's session due to ankle and knee issues he suffered in the Week 17 win over the Chargers. The cornerback will have one more opportunity to upgrade his practice participation to dodge an injury designation ahead of Monday night's wild-card clash with the Steelers. If the 22-year-old is unable to suit up for the contest, Tremon Smith will likely start at outside cornerback opposite Derek Stingley once again.

George Kittle TE | SF
49ers' George Kittle: Cleared to play
Kittle (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's wild-card game at Philadelphia, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Kittle played 95 percent of snaps Week 18, returning from a one-game absence for the 13-3 loss to Seattle. He'll likely handle an every-down role again this weekend against another one of the NFC's top defenses.

Poona Ford DT | LAR
Rams' Poona Ford: Notches pair of sacks in 2025
Ford recorded 47 tackles (19 solo), including 2.0 sacks, and one pass defensed in 17 games in 2025.
The veteran nose tackle's first season as a Ram was in line with his typical production through his career, as his 47 tackles are second behind the 53 he recorded with Seattle in 2021. Ford continued to showcase his durability, playing in every game for the fifth time in the last six seasons. Ford will be entering the second year of a three-year, $30 million deal for the Rams in 2026 and will continue to anchor the defensive line along with Braden Fiske and Kobie Turner.
