  • Kareem Hunt RB | KC

Chiefs' Kareem Hunt: Remains team's RB1 for Week 12

Hunt is set to lead Kansas City's backfield Sunday against the Colts, as Isiah Pacheco (knee) has been ruled out.

Pacheco will miss a third consecutive game Sunday. Hunt has turned 26 touches into 117 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns during the first two games of Pacheco's absence. Brashard Smith and Elijah Mitchell remain on hand in backup roles. Hunt has seven total touchdowns this season, including four in his last three games.

  • Jaquan Brisker SAF | PIT

Bears' Jaquan Brisker: Questionable for Sunday

Brisker (shoulder) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Steelers.

Brisker upgraded from a DNP on Wednesday to full practice sessions Thursday and Friday, suggesting he's trending toward playing in the Week 12 matchup. The Penn State product has yet to miss a game this season, recording 49 total tackles and three passes defensed, including one interception, over 10 appearances. If active Sunday, he'll likely operate as the team's top strong safety.

  • Jaylon Johnson CB | CHI

Bears' Jaylon Johnson: Could return Sunday

Johnson (groin) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Steelers.

Johnson practiced in full both Thursday and Friday but must still be activated to the Bears' active roster in order to suit up in Week 12. He's an integral part of Chicago's defense, appearing in 17 games and recording 53 total tackles, eight passes defensed, including two interceptions, and one forced fumble in 2024. If Johnson returns Sunday, he'll likely operate as the Bears' top boundary corner.

  • Noah Sewell LB | CHI

Bears' Noah Sewell: Won't play Sunday

Sewell (elbow) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Steelers.

Sewell didn't practice all week after likely sustaining an elbow injury in the Bears' Week 11 win over the Vikings, so it's no surprise that he won't suit up Sunday. The Oregon product has been one of Chicago's top defenders this season, recording 55 total tackles and one forced fumble over nine appearances. While he's out in Week 12, expect D'Marco Jackson to have an expanded role in the Bears' linebacker corps.

  • Bears' Roschon Johnson: Missing Week 12

Johnson (thumb) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Steelers.

The third-year pro from Texas didn't practice all week and is now in line to miss his fourth game of the season Sunday. Johnson has played a depth role in Chicago's backfield this season, rushing twice for 17 yards across seven appearances. While he's sidelined in Week 12, D'Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai are expected to handle the Bears' rushing duties.

  • Travis Homer RB | PIT

Bears' Travis Homer: Won't play in Week 12

Homer (hamstring/knee) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Steelers.

The Miami product downgraded from limited practice Wednesday to a DNP on Friday, so it's no surprise that he won't play in the Week 12 matchup. Homer has appeared in five games this season, contributing primarily on special teams (six offensive snaps, 86 special-teams snaps). With Homer and Roschon Johnson (thumb) both out Sunday, D'Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai are currently the only healthy running backs on Chicago's active roster.

  • Chiefs' Xavier Worthy: Status in question for Week 12

Worthy (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game versus the Colts.

Worthy tended to an ankle injury last week but still suited up this past Sunday at Denver, logging a 76 percent snap share and gathering in three of five targets for 25 yards. After coach Andy Reid told Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site on Wednesday that Worthy tweaked his ankle, the second-year wide receiver followed a DNP/LP/FP practice regimen this week. Worthy's status for Week 12 will be confirmed about 90 minutes before Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • T.J. Edwards LB | CHI

Bears' T.J. Edwards: Out for Sunday

Edwards (hand) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Steelers.

The Wisconsin product is now in line to miss his third consecutive game due to a hand injury. Edwards has appeared in just five contests this season, recording 31 total tackles and three passes defensed. While he remains out in Week 12, expect Amen Ogbongbemiga to have a larger role on Chicago's defense.

  • Bears' Tremaine Edmunds: Won't play Sunday

Edmunds (groin) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Steelers.

The 27-year-old didn't practice all week due to a groin injury and is now in line to miss his first game of the season Sunday. Edmunds is an integral part of the Bears' defense, recording 89 total tackles and nine passes defensed, including four interceptions, over 10 appearances this year. While he's out in Week 12, expect Ruben Hyppolite to have an expanded role on Chicago's defense.

  • Mike Gesicki TE | CIN

Bengals' Mike Gesicki: Comes off IR

The Bengals activated Gesicki (pectoral) from injured reserve Friday.

Since injuring his pectoral Week 6 at Green Bay, Gesicki has missed the requisite four games on IR, and his ability to practice in full Wednesday and Thursday was enough for Cincinnati to bring him back to the active roster ahead of the weekend. He thus will be among the top TE options along with Noah Fant for whoever is helming the offense Sunday against the Patriots. Those options include Joe Burrow (toe, IR) and Joe Flacco (right shoulder).
