Jonathan Greenard LB | PHI
Vikings' Jonathan Greenard: DNP to open week
Greenard (shoulder) was a DNP at Wednesday's practice walkthrough.
Greenard has been unable to practice since sustaining a shoulder injury in Week 10 against the Ravens, which prevented him from playing this past Sunday against the Eagles. He has two more opportunities to practice in at least a limited capacity ahead of this Sunday's NFC North clash against the Packers.

Christopher Smith S | NYJ
Rams' Chris Smith: Claimed by Rams
The Rams claimed Smith off waivers Wednesday.
Smith was waived by the Raiders on Tuesday but is now headed to Los Angeles, where he can contribute on both defense and special teams. The 2023 fifth-round pick recorded just three tackles (one solo) across nine games with Las Vegas but will look to make a bigger impact with his new team.

Russell Gage WR | SF
Russell Gage: Gets released from practice squad
San Francisco released Gage from its practice squad Wednesday.
In a corresponding transaction, the 49ers signed kicker Matt Gay to their practice squad. It seems like wideout Brandon Aiyuk (knee) should be available again soon for San Francisco, so there may not be as much desperation for depth at that position now as there was for much of the year up to this point. For his part, Gage will become an unrestricted free agent.

Nate Hobbs CB | SF
Packers' Nate Hobbs: No practice to begin week
Hobbs (knee) did not practice Wednesday.
Hobbs has missed each of the last two games with a knee sprain and has yet to practice. He'll have the next two days to increase his participation, though it wasn't a positive start to the week.

Javon Bullard SAF | GB
Packers' Javon Bullard: Dealing with ankle issue
Bullard (ankle) logged a limited practice Wednesday.
Bullard played his typical allotment of defensive snaps in Week 11 against the Giants, so it's unclear when he suffered the injury. His status for a Week 12 matchup against the Vikings should become clearer in the next two days.
-
Alex Wright DE | CLE
Browns' Alex Wright: Not practicing Wednesday
Wright (quadriceps) did not participate at practice Wednesday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Wright was sidelined in Week 11 versus the Ravens with a quad injury he suffered in Week 10 against the Jets, and now his status for Week 12 is up in the air. If he can't get back to practice Thursday or Friday, it's not likely he'll have any chance to play Sunday at Las Vegas.
-
Graham Glasgow C | DET
Lions' Graham Glasgow: Limited at Wednesday's walkthrough
Glasgow (knee) was estimated to be a limited participant in Detroit's walkthrough practice Wednesday.
Glasgow was limited in practice throughout last week with a back injury, and it's currently unclear when he hurt his knee. If the 31-year-old manages to be a full participant in practice either Thursday or Friday, he should be good to go for Sunday's matchup versus the Giants.
-
Jonah Laulu DT | LV
Raiders' Jonah Laulu: Limited to open week
Laulu (ribs) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.
Laulu suffered a rib injury during the first quarter of Monday's 33-16 loss to the Cowboys and was unable to return. His ability to practice Wednesday in a limited capacity is a sign that the injury isn't considered a long-term issue, though his practice participation over the next two days will shed light on his chances of playing against the Browns on Sunday. Thomas Booker would likely step into a starting role at defensive tackle alongside Adam Butler if Laulu were to miss time due to his injury.

Keisean Nixon DB | GB
Packers' Keisean Nixon: Dealing with illness
Nixon (illness) logged a limited practice Wednesday.
There's no indication of how serious the illness is. Nixon's practice participation for the next two days should provide an indication of his availability in Week 12 against Minnesota.
