Hooker reverted to the Panthers' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.

Hooker was elevated to serve as Andy Dalton's backup in Sunday's 40-9 loss to the Bills, failing to enter the game. The quarterback could be elevated to the active roster again in Week 9 versus the Packers if Bryce Young (ankle) remains sidelined.

Smith posted eight tackles (four solo) and a defensed pass Sunday in a 23-3 victory versus New Orleans.

Smith's eight stops ranked second on the Saints. The second-year safety has racked up at least six tackles in all eight of the Buccaneers' games this season and has logged a robust 66 stops on the campaign.

Dennis notched seven tackles (four solo), including 1.0 sacks, in Sunday's 23-3 win against New Orleans.

On the Saints' second drive, the team drove into Tampa Bay territory before Dennis threw a wrench into the series with a 10-yard sack of Spencer Rattler. It was Dennis' second sack in as many games after he went without a sack for the first six weeks of the campaign. With 2.0 sacks on the season, Dennis has already established a career-high mark.

Stick operated as the team's backup quarterback behind Kirk Cousins in Sunday's 34-10 loss to Miami, failing to enter the game. The quarterback could be elevated to the active roster again in Week 9 versus the Patriots if Michael Penix (knee) remains unavailable.

Drummond was elevated to the active roster ahead of Sunday's 34-10 loss to the Dolphins, failing to record any stats while playing six snaps on offense. The wide receiver ranked fourth in snaps at his position behind David Sills (45), Darnell Mooney (45) and KhaDarel Hodge (33). If Drake London (hip) remains unavailable in Week 9, Drummond could be elevated again prior to the team's matchup with the Patriots.

David recorded 10 tackles (four solo) and recovered a fumble against the Saints in a 23-3 victory in Week 8.

David dealt with a knee injury early in the week but was able to suit up for the contest. He led the Bucs with 10 tackles, reaching the double-digit mark for the second time this season. David is on pace for another triple-digit tackle campaign with 57 stops through eight games.

Winfield tallied six tackles (four solo), an interception and a fumble recovery Sunday in a 23-3 win against the Saints.

Winfield made a key play late in the second quarter when he recovered a New Orleans fumble. His next big play came near the end of the third period when he picked off a Tyler Shough pass. That was his first interception of the season, as well as his first since the 2023 campaign.

Newton (ankle) is questionable to return to Monday night's game against the Chiefs, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Newton appeared to have suffered an ankle injury in the first half, placing some doubt on his ability to return to action during Monday Night Football. In his absence, Eddie Goldman and Sheldon Day are top candidates to handle larger workloads on the defensive line.

Nelson recorded four tackles (two solo), including 2.0 sacks, forced a fumble and logged a pix-sick in Sunday's 23-3 win against New Orleans.

With Haason Reddick (ankle/knee) unable to suit up Sunday, Nelson logged a season-high 62 percent snap share. He made an immediate impact, forcing a fumble that was recovered by Tampa Bay on New Orleans' first possession. Nelson didn't slow down from there -- he added a pair of sacks and turned an interception of Spencer Rattler into a touchdown in the second period. That play marked both the first pickoff and first TD of Nelson's career.

Tunsil (hamstring) has returned to action in Monday night's contest versus Kansas City, Tashan Reed of The Washington Post reports.

Tunsil was briefly sidelined with a hamstring injury in the first half, but he has since made his way back onto the field. The 31-year-old is handling his typical workload at starting left tackle against the Chiefs.
