  • Andrew Wylie G | WAS

Commanders' Andrew Wylie: Taking over starting role

Wylie is expected to start at right guard Sunday against the Raiders, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.

Nick Allegretti struggled in Week 2 against the Packers, allowing four pressures and a sack. That will give Wylie the chance to take over at right guard after he played only on special teams for the first two weeks of the season.

  • Jake Andrews C | HOU

Texans' Jake Andrews: Ready to return

Andrews does not have an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Jaguars.

Andrews missed Week 2 with an ankle injury but is set to return after logging two limited sessions earlier in the week and a full practice Friday. He should start at center against the Jaguars.

  • 49ers' Connor Colby: Status in question for Sunday

Colby (groin) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Briana Jeannel of the 49ers' official site reports.

Colby was set for his first start in place of Ben Bartch (ankle), who was placed on injured reserve this week, but the former was limited by a groin injury at Friday's practice. When asked who would sub in for Colby if he can't go Sunday, coach Kyle Shanahan said, "It could be Drew Moss. It could be Nick Zakelj." Moss is on the active roster, while Zakelj is on the practice squad, so for him to be an option this weekend, he'll need to be elevated or signed outright to the 53-man. Ultimately, a decision on Colby's status will be made about 90 minutes before a 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • Jaylin Smith CB | HOU

Texans' Jaylin Smith: Sidelined by hamstring injury

Smith (hamstring) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Jaguars.

Smith has played primarily on special teams through the first two games of his pro career. He presumably suffered the injury in Week 2 against Tampa Bay, and a potential timeline for a return is unclear, as he has been unable to practice in any capacity throughout the week.

  • Wyatt Milum OT | JAC

    Jaguars' Wyatt Milum: Still sidelined

Milum (knee) is listed as out for Sunday's game against the Texans.

Milum will miss his third straight game to begin his pro career. He was able to log three limited practice sessions, so he could be lined up for a Week 4 debut.

  • Cody Simon LB | ARI

Cardinals' Cody Simon: Clear to return in Week 3

Simon (concussion) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game in San Francisco, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Simon suffered a concussion Week 1 and sat out a Week 2 win against the Panthers as a result. He then capped this week with back-to-back full practices and was cleared to return to action on the Cardinals' final Week 3 injury report. Simon, a rookie fourth-round pick, likely will be contained to special-teams duty Sunday.

  • Aaron Banks G | GB

Packers' Aaron Banks: Returning to action Sunday

Banks (groin) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game at Cleveland.

Banks was held out of the Packers' Week 2 win against the Commanders due to ankle and groin injuries. He then was listed with just the ankle issue this week, which he capped with his first full practice since Week 1 prep. Banks thus will retake his spot as Green Bay's starting left guard Week 3.

  • Elijah Molden CB | LAC

Chargers' Elijah Molden: Missing second straight

Molden (hamstring) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Broncos.

Molden is set to miss his second straight game due to a hamstring issue. He was unable to practice in any capacity throughout the week, so the timing of his potential return is unclear.

  • Damien Martinez: Released from practice squad

Martinez was released from the Seahawks' practice squad Friday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.

The Seahawks waived Martinez at the end of the preseason, and he'd been on the practice squad since. He's likely to find an opportunity elsewhere around the league, or he could be re-signed by Seattle if the team shuffles its practice squad roster.

  • 49ers' Kyle Juszczyk: Clears concussion protocol

Juszczyk does not have an injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Cardinals, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Juszczyk suffered a concussion during San Francisco's Week 2 win over the Saints. He progressed to a full practice Friday, and his lack of an injury designation suggests he has cleared the league's concussion protocol. Juszczyk should be ready to suit up against Arizona in Week 3.
