The Cardinals have elevated Sims from the practice squad to the active roster for Sunday's game against the Falcons.
Sims could be in line to suit up for his first game of the 2025 regular season Sunday. He boasts the ability to contribute both as a depth option at wideout and in the return game. After Sunday's contest against Atlanta, Sims will revert to the practice squad.

49ers' Ricky Pearsall: Won't play Week 16
Pearsall (knee/ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Colts, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Pearsall was unable to participate in practice during Week 16 prep due to knee and ankle injuries that he sustained during the 49ers' Week 15 victory over the Titans. With Pearsall sidelined for Monday's road contest, Kendrick Bourne and Demarcus Robinson will step into larger roles on offense. Pearsall will work on progressing enough in his recovery to be available for the 49ers' Week 17 home tilt against the Bears on Sunday, Dec. 28.

Giants' Kayvon Thibodeaux: Done for season
The Giants placed Thibodeaux (shoulder) on injured reserve Saturday.
Thibodeaux will miss the remainder of the 2025 campaign due to a shoulder injury he initially sustained in Week 10. With Thibodeaux sidelined for New York's final three games, rookie first-round pick Abdul Carter will continue handling a starting role alongside Brian Burns. Thibodeaux finishes his fourth NFL season with 25 tackles, 2.5 sacks and two pass breakups over 10 appearances.

Giants' Ben Sauls: Elevated for Sunday's start
The Giants have elevated Sauls from the practice squad to the active roster for Sunday's game against the Vikings.
Sauls is slated to start in Week 16 with New York having waived Younghoe Koo. Sauls, an undrafted rookie out of Pittsburgh, will thus make his NFL debut for the Giants on Sunday, though he's spent time with three organizations to date. Across his five-year collegiate career, Sauls managed a 81.3 percent field-goal conversion rate.

Panthers' David Moore: Staying on IR for Week 16
Moore (elbow) is ruled out for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
Moore had his 21-day practice window opened Wednesday, but he's not yet ready to come off IR. The depth wideout's next chance to return to action will come in Week 17 at home against the Seahawks.

Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Officially out for Week 16
Sanders (hip) is officially ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bengals, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Sanders wasn't activated from IR on Saturday, making him ineligible to play Sunday. He had his 21-day practice window opened Wednesday but isn't yet ready to rejoin the 53-man roster. Riley Patterson has been accurate as Miami's kicker thus far and will get another chance to prove his consistency during Sunday's game against Cincinnati.

Lions' Giovanni Ricci: Elevated to face Steelers
The Lions have elevated Ricci from the practice squad to the active roster for Sunday's game against Pittsburgh.
Ricci will be elevated for a second consecutive game to contribute in a depth capacity at tight end. Versus the Rams in Week 15, he played 12 snaps on offense (zero targets) and 14 snaps on special teams. He'll revert to the practice squad after Sunday's contest.

Lions' Kerby Joseph: Placed on IR
The Lions placed Joseph (knee) on injured reserve Saturday.
Joseph will miss the remainder of the regular season due to his knee injury, but he could be a candidate to return to action during the playoffs, if Detroit progresses to the postseason. Thomas Harper is set to handle a starting role at free safety versus the Steelers on Sunday, and for the remainder of the regular season, with Joseph sidelined.

Ravens' Teddye Buchanan: Officially placed on IR
The Ravens placed Buchanan (ACL) on injured reserve Saturday.
Buchanan will miss the remainder of the 2025 campaign due to a torn right ACL suffered in Week 15 against the Bengals, so his placement on IR was anticipated. In Buchanan's stead, Trenton Simpson will now inherit a starting role at inside linebacker alongside Roquan Smith beginning Sunday versus the Patriots.

Dolphins' Theo Wease: Elevated for Week 16
The Dolphins have elevated Wease from the practice squad to the active roster for Sunday's game against the Bengals.
Wease will perhaps get an opportunity to make his regular-season debut versus Cincinnati on Sunday. If that happens, expect the undrafted rookie out of Missouri to contribute in a reserve capacity for Miami in what will be quarterback Quinn Ewers' first career start.
