Makar scored a goal on two shots, added two assists and went minus-2 in Wednesday's 5-3 loss to the Bruins.
All three of Makar's points came on the power play in his best game of the young season. Still, he's had defensive struggles, which have been thrust into the spotlight with goaltender Alexandar Georgiev off to a horrid start. Makar has a goal, seven assists, six shots on net, four hits and a minus-6 rating through four appearances.
