Hudon was recalled from AHL Colorado on Sunday.
The 28-year-old was likely promoted as insurance in case Artturi Lehkonen (upper body) is forced to miss any time. Hudon has 16 points in 20 AHL games this season and last appeared in an NHL contest during the 2019-20 campaign.
