Nabokov is slated to draw the road start during Monday's preseason game against Winnipeg, Hockey Mountain High reports.
Mackenzie Blackwood will draw the start during Sunday's preseason opener at home against the Mammoth, and Nabokov is set to tend the twine in the second half of the back-to-back set. Despite starting Monday, Nabokov will likely begin the regular season in the minors, as Blackwood and Scott Wedgewood are expected to serve as Colorado's netminders.
