Salomaki was recalled from AHL Colorado to the taxi squad Friday.
Salomaki likely will travel with the team on its upcoming two-game road trip to Vegas. The 27-year-old has 167 NHL games under his belt, in which he's registered 12 goals and 15 assists. He'll likely draw into the bottom six if he cracks the lineup.
