MacKinnon scored a goal on seven shots and added four hits in Wednesday's 8-6 loss to the Canucks.
MacKinnon has five goals and two assists over his last five outings. His tally Wednesday was his league-leading 50th of the season -- that's a milestone he's now reached in two of the last three years. He's up to 121 points, 325 shots on net, 60 hits, 34 blocked shots, 35 PIM and a plus-55 rating over 73 appearances this season. MacKinnon seems likely to surpass his career high of 51 goals from 2023-24, but he probably doesn't have enough time to top his 140-point output from that campaign.
