Miner (undisclosed) was placed on waivers Saturday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.

Miner is ready to return to the crease after starting the 2026-27 campaign on the Avalanche's injured non-roster list. Assuming he clears waivers, he should be in the mix for starts with AHL Colorado.
