Jenner sustained an upper-body injury during Friday's practice, Aaron Portzline of The Athletic reports.
Jenner lost an edge during practice and slammed into the wall, and he left the ice shortly after. He wasn't on the roster for Friday's preseason finale against the Penguins, but the team hasn't yet provided an update on his status with less than a week remaining until Opening Night against the Wild on Thursday. Jenner's potential absence would leave the Blue Jackets particularly shorthanded after Dmitri Voronkov (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Friday.
