Van Riemsdyk scored a goal on three shots in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Panthers.
Van Riemsdyk tallied with 2:39 left in the third period, but the Blue Jackets' comeback push fell short. The goal was his first in three regular-season games after the winger signed with the team on the eve of training camp. He's been limited, averaging just 12:19 of ice time, but he remains on the second power-play unit. In 71 regular-season contests with the Bruins last year, van Riemsdyk racked up 38 points, 12 of which came on the power play.
