Marchenko produced a goal and an assist in Thursday's 6-4 win over the Sabres.
He wired home Columbus' second goal of the night late in the first period before setting up Damon Severson for the team's final tally midway through the third. Marchenko has gotten onto the scoresheet in three straight games, racking up two goals and six points, and with injuries mounting in the Blue Jackets' forward ranks, the 24-year-old appears locked into a top-six assignment and spot on the top power-play unit.
