Sawchenko had a 2.12 GAA and a .924 save percentage in six regular-season games with AHL Abbotsford in 2023-24. Elvis Merzlikins and Daniil Tarasov are expected to be the Blue Jackets' two goaltenders going into the 2024-25 campaign, and Jet Greaves is likely also ahead of Sawchenko in the depth charts.
