Schueneman was placed on waivers by the Blues on Sunday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
Schueneman was unable to land a spot on the Blues' Opening Night roster after joining the team on a two-way pact over the summer. He should head to the AHL to begin the regular season if he passes through waivers.
