Hofer was the first goalie off Thursday, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports, indicating he'll be in goal for the Blues' home game against the Islanders.
Hofer has started in just one of the Blues' first four games of the season, and he turned aside 25 of 29 shots in a road win over the Sharks on Oct. 10. He'll have the chance to start at home Thursday against the Islanders, who have scored 10 goals over their first three games this season while posting a 1-1-1 record.
