Binnington stopped 21 of 25 shots in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Canadiens. The fifth goal was an empty-netter.
Binnington, coming off his best effort of the season in a 5-1 win over Toronto on Thursday, didn't get great support in front of him Saturday. He has lost four of his last five outings to drop his record to 2-4-0 with a 2.86 GAA and a .903 save percentage. The Blues have two days off before continuing a four-game road trip in Ottawa on Tuesday.
