Walker was placed on waivers by St. Louis on Friday, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.
Walker played in 46 regular-season games for the Blues last season, tallying four goals, seven assists and 38 shots while averaging 11:59 of ice time. Given his extensive NHL experience, the 32-year-old center could draw some interest from various NHL clubs.
