St. Louis obtained Faksa from Dallas on Tuesday in exchange for future considerations.
Faksa registered seven goals, 19 points, 71 shots on net and 97 hits over 74 regular-season outings with the Stars in 2023-24. As a member of the Blues, he will likely occupy a bottom-six role and see plenty of action on the penalty kill.
