Patera recorded a 21-save shutout in AHL Providence's 8-0 win over Lehigh Valley on Sunday.
Patera is in good form to start the 2025-26 season. He's 3-3-0 on the year, but he has a 2.02 GAA and a .926 save percentage over six games for Providence, by far the best ratios of his AHL career. Patera is sharing the crease with Simon Zajicek, though the former would likely be first in line for a call-up if the Bruins need help at the NHL level.
