Texier scored a goal on two shots and added two PIM in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Sabres.
Texier's tally was his first goal this season. The 27-year-old has filled a middle-six role with power-play time so far, but he's not showing a lot of consistency on offense, though he has taken multiple shots in four straight games. He's at three points, 13 shots, 10 hits, six PIM and a minus-2 rating over eight appearances.
