Paquette was a healthy scratch for the 10th consecutive game Saturday.
Paquette has yet to be active for interim head coach Martin St. Louis. Saturday represented a chance for Paquette, but the coach instead activated Mathieu Perreault to replace Paul Byron (upper body). The Canadiens were also without Joel Armia (face) and Jonathan Drouin (wrist), but guys like Laurent Dauphin, Michael Pezzetta and Ryan Poehling have earned ice time over Paquette.
