Fowler was recalled from AHL Laval on Tuesday.
The Canadiens are apparently fed up with the poor performances of Sam Montembeault and Jakub Dobes, and will put some pressure on both goalies by calling up Fowler. In 15 AHL games this season, Fowler has gone 10-5-0 with a 2.09 GAA and a .919 save percentage, and he's already amassed three shutouts. His first appearance will be his NHL debut.
