Dobes will defend the cage on the road against Washington on Wednesday, Eric Engels of Sportsnet reports.
Dobes will get the second night of the back-to-back while Jacob Fowler features versus the Sabres on Tuesday. In three outings this year, the 25-year-old Dobes is 1-1-1 with a 4.43 GAA and .856 save percentage. He should continue to see the bulk of the workload, though Fowler might get some more opportunities if Dobes can't get his GAA down.
