Anderson scored a goal on two shots and added two PIM in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Sabres.
Anderson has done enough to maintain a middle-six role early in the season. He has two goals, two assists, 12 shots on net, 14 hits, eight PIM and a plus-2 rating over six appearances. Anderson has played alongside Alex Newhook and Chris Kreider on the second line lately, though his scoring upside is limited by his lack of a power-play role.
