Weber played through a thumb injury during the playoffs, Eric Engels of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Interim head coach Dominique Ducharme didn't elaborate on Weber's injury much in his comments after Wednesday's Game 5 loss. Weber managed a goal and five helpers in 22 playoff contests. The defenseman added 72 hits, 40 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating while skating on the top pairing.
