DeBrusk scored the second goal for the Canucks across a 42-second span in the opening period. The twine finder extended his point streak to four games and was his fourth goal over his last six appearances. Overall, the 29-year-old winger is up to 18 goals, 37 points, 194 shots on net, 61 hits and 31 blocked shots through 74 games this season. While he's taken a small step back in production during his second full season with the Canucks, DeBrusk is still on pace to finish the season with 40-plus points, which would be his fifth consecutive season reaching that total.
