Mancini was sent down to AHL Abbotsford to retain AHL playoff eligibility Friday.
Mancini quickly returned to the NHL roster, per the NHL media site, and he may be in the lineup Friday versus the Wild. If the Canucks miss the postseason, Mancini could see more playing time with the minor-league club, which is contending for a spot in the AHL playoffs.
