Miroshnichenko was loaned to AHL Hershey on Monday.

Miroshnichenko appeared in 21 regular-season games for Washington last year and logged two goals and six points while averaging 12:08 of ice time. He'll be left off the Capitals' Opening Night roster this year but could still see a role in the NHL at some point this year. However, even if he rejoins the Capitals, he'll likely have to compete for playing time, making him a risky fantasy option in redraft formats.
