Thompson will get the second half of Washington's back-to-back after Charlie Lindgren plays Tuesday in Philadelphia. The 27-year-old Thompson has a 2-0-0 record this campaign, stopping 50 of 57 shots. As expected, Thompson and Lindgren have been sharing starts to begin the 2024-25 season.
