Capitals' Tom Wilson: Lights lamp twice in win

Wilson scored two goals in Tuesday's 6-4 win over the Flyers.

The rugged winger bookended the scoring on the night, beating Dan Vladar from the high slot late in the first period, before scoring an empty-netter from deep in his own zone with just over a minute left in the third. Wilson had just two goals and three points in 14 games going into Tuesday night's action, but he has been productive this season. He has produced 27 goals, 54 points, 169 hits, 140 shots on net, 117 PIM, 49 blocked shots and a plus-11 rating through 65 contests.
