Wilson has been suspended six games for high-sticking Toronto's Noah Gregor on Wednesday.
Wilson will be out Friday against Carolina and won't be eligible to return until April 4 against the Penguins. The veteran winger has been held to just 32 points through 66 games this season. Due to Wilson's absence, Matthew Phillips should see some playing time with the big club.
