Dermott (upper body) left Sunday's 5-2 win over San Jose in the second period and didn't return, according to Alan Robinson of NHL.com.
There was no update on Dermott's status following the contest, so it's unclear if he will be available for Tuesday's contest against Seattle. If he can't play, the Coyotes will need to bring up a defender from AHL Tucson.
