Fowler (upper body) won't suit up Friday versus the Wild on Friday, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports.
Fowler was considered a game-time decision and won't be able to play. It's his first missed game of the season. Urho Vaakanainen will play Friday and would likely remain in the lineup if Fowler is unavailable versus the Blue Jackets on Sunday.
