Dostal made 14 saves in Saturday's 6-2 preseason loss to the Kings.
The Ducks actually held a 2-1 lead late in the first period, but Los Angeles scored five straight goals against Dostal to end the preseason on a sour note for the netminder. Dostal recorded a career-high 30 wins in the 2025-26 regular season, and he remains the clear No. 1 in the crease for an Anaheim team looking to take another step forward this season.
