Gaucher (lower body) was reassigned to AHL San Diego on Wednesday.
Gaucher was bothered by a minor injury that kept him from suiting up Wednesday versus the Sharks. Since he was sent down again, that injury is no longer a concern. The 21-year-old center will begin the year with the Gulls and figures to spend most of the campaign in the minors.
